If you love to eat fish but the thought of preparing it at home is a bit daunting, this is the workshop for you. You will learn easy tips for purchasing, storing and preparing fresh fish. Techniques taught will include boning, steaking, scaling and filleting, as well as different cooking techniques for cooking each fish. We will be working with whatever is best available on each day, so we may be cooking sea bass, monkfish, skate, mackerel, or perhaps hake. Each student will have a hands-on filleting tutorial. The workshop will finish with a fishy lunch with a glass or two of wine, if desired.
