Henrietta Inman is a skilled pastry chef and cookery teacher. She has worked in award-winning kitchens including The Lanesborough Hotel and the Michelin-starred Apsleys. She now lives and works in London where she takes private commissions and bespoke orders, holds cookery classes and baking demonstrations and does food consultancy, supper clubs and events. Author of Clean Cakes: Delicious patisserie made with whole, natural and nourishing ingredients and free from gluten, dairy and refined sugar was her first best-selling book. This workshop will draw from her second book scheduled to be released on 22nd March – The Natural Baker: A new way to bake using the best natural ingredients.
By balancing the flavour, quality and texture of classic patisserie with the fullness, value and goodness of simple wholefoods, trained pastry chef, Henrietta Inman, creates recipes that are packed full of flavour, exciting and unique. Come and learn to bake with her and celebrate the amazing variety and diversity of natural ingredients such as nutty wholegrain flours, rich and caramel-like less refined sugars, fragrant raw honey, earthy cold-pressed rapeseed oil, virgin coconut oil with its vanilla notes, real butter and vibrant and colourful seasonal fruits and vegetables. This is a new way to bake and you’ll leave the class inspired and equipped with the skills and knowledge to bake naturally in your own home and create cakes and bakes as nourishing as they are delicious.
Some of your delicious bakes you will be taking some with you and some will form part of the included lunch served with wine.
