Pizza from a Wood-Fired Oven with Gio Di Sarno

Born in Naples, Gio is the fifth generation baker in his family. His family owns a bakery in Pollena Trocchia. It was here Gio was taught by his grandmother from an early age.
After graduating at 18 from the cookery academy of Pollena Trocchia, he worked in the family bakery until he was 22 when he began traveling the world, baking along the way. Now living in England for almost 7 years, Gio still works as a baker and pizza chef .
During this fun workshop, we will master the art of the perfect Neapolitan Pizza. Using top-notch ingredients, we will prepare an Italian feast in the fabulous Earthstone wood-fired oven. Expect to make Pizza frittas, Montanaras, Calzone and more!
There will be refreshments on arrival and throughout the day, which will end with a fabulous lunch of your own making and will include some lovely wine from Liberty Wines!
