Plant Based Mediterranean with Marcia Barrington

Marcia Barrington is a chef and recipe writer with a long-standing career in food. She was one of the original directors of the Divertimenti Cookery School, has held consultancy posts at top event companies, headed up a French cookery school brand for its UK launch and latterly – as catering boss, where she set up and ran her high-end catering company for ten years. She now splits her time between teaching in London and Valencia, Spain where she runs her food tour in and around the renowned Mercat Central.
In this Plant Based Mediterranean inspired class Marcia will give you a tool kit of flavour to make your vegetable dishes sing. Coupled with beautiful styling and tips on how to recreate this way of eating at home, this workshop is definitely not to be missed.
Recipes on the day will include:
Date honey and fresh harissa roasted aubergines with toasted walnuts
Cumin-roasted carrots with avocado, black rice and almond crema
Charred broccoli with seasonal beets, radicchio, crispy chickpeas & lemon tahini dressing
Hand-made flat breads with muhummara & beet and fennel dip and finish off with a fantastic Dark chocolate aquafaba mousse.
Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival and a glass of wine will be served with your lovely lunch that you will have prepared.
