Spanish Cooking with Marci Barrington

Marcia Barrington is a chef and recipe writer with a long-standing career in food. She was one of the original directors of the Divertimenti Cookery School, has held consultancy posts at top event companies, headed up a French cookery school brand for its UK launch and latterly – as catering boss, where she set up and ran her high-end catering company for ten years. She now splits her time between teaching in London and Valencia, Spain where she runs her food tour in and around the renowned Mercat Central.
This glass does contain fish but can be easily adapted for vegetarians.
Heres what you might expect to make the day!
Spanish coca with sobresada and goat’s cheese/Flame grilled aubergines, peppers and squidgy onions
Traditional Spanish tortilla
Blistered Padrón peppers
Broad beans and artichokes with jamón and fino sherry
Ensalada de tomate, ajo blanco, ajillo – Tomato salad with almond ajo blanco, lots of parsley and garlic
Arroz de marisco
Tea and coffee will be available on your arrival and soft drinks will be available throughout the day. Lunch will be served with wine and/or soft drinks.
