Kylee Newton, founder of preserving brand ‘Newton & Pott’ and Author of ‘The Modern Preserver’.  Newton puts contemporary twists to preserving classics creating innovative preserves from Za’atar Pickled Cauliflower to Tamarillo Chutney to Strawberry & Pimm’s jam.

Come and join her on a day of preserving in a masterclass covering several age-old techniques but with a modern take. Learn to make cordial, pickle and tackle the chemistry of jam.  Take the fear out of home preserving and master the skills for more confidence when it comes to conserving the seasonal fruit and vegetable glut. We offer a hands on class where you get to take your makings home to save for a raining day, because there’s nothing like opening up a jar of something made in the summer to take away the winter gloom.  Always working with seasonal fruit, vegetables and shrubs every class will be different so you can attend this class time and time again!  Also included is a delicious lunch with some of your preserves on the side, served with wine.
